People say design solves problems and art asks questions. For many years, I solved other’s problems, but questions never left me: Who am I? Are we shaping the world, or is the world shaping us? What is truly important? When I pick up a pen, a chisel, or a piece of material, dreams, myths, memories, and ideas begin to connect. Sometimes they become lines, sometimes sculptures, light, or space. I don’t expect art to provide answers, but it opens a door. That’s enough to keep me going.
